This mission trip is designed for families who are eager to engage in evangelistic outreach while experiencing the diverse culture of Greece. Over the course of the trip, our team will have the opportunity to serve together and share the message of Christ through various evangelistic activities, including:
- Street Evangelism: Families will participate in outreach on the streets of Athens, Greece, where they can engage with people from various cultural and religious backgrounds.
- Community Service Projects: In addition to evangelism, our team will be involved in practical service projects aimed at meeting the needs of local communities. These projects may include helping at food banks, organizing events for local children, or offering support to refugees and other marginalized groups.
- Cultural Immersion: Families will learn about the rich history and cultural diversity of Greece, which is home to people from all over the world. This will be an opportunity to understand different worldviews and engage in respectful dialogue while sharing the gospel.
- Training and Support: Prior to the trip, participants will receive training in how to effectively share their faith, with a particular focus on communicating in a way that is culturally sensitive and relevant in a secular environment. Local church leaders will provide ongoing mentorship and prayer support throughout the trip.
- Family-Focused Evangelism: The trip is designed to be family-friendly, with activities and events that are aimed at high school age students to adults. Families will work together as a unit to pray, serve, and share their faith, creating meaningful spiritual experiences for everyone.
- Partnership with Local Churches: Families will collaborate with local churches and ministries, providing a great opportunity to build lasting relationships with believers in Greece. These partnerships aim to strengthen the local church’s outreach efforts and leave a lasting impact in the community.
This mission trip offers an impactful and immersive way for families to grow spiritually while actively participating in evangelism and serving others in one of the world’s most influential cities.

A few weeks ago ODC interns partnered with goers from the Austin Stone Northwest to serve in Athens, Greece.
Our team got to serve with a number of local ministries that help reach refugees, locals and college students.
One of the most unique parts of this trip was the way that the Lord specifically used each of the giftings of those on the trip and united our team as one body. It could not have been more evident that the Lord handpicked this team.

ODC FOR THE CITY!
Last week, our ODC interns had the privilege to serve alongside NACC ( North Austin Christian Church) in putting on our annual kids camp. It was a joy to serve the local kids and families and to get to see the fruit of what God is doing in our city!
Our interns and families just returned from a week spent serving with @makariosint in the Dominican Republic!
Our team had the opportunity to serve local communities, build relationships, and witness the incredible ways God is at work through Makarios.
Join us in praying that the seeds planted this week would continue to bear fruit long after the trip has ended.
