Summer Internship Program

We completed our first summer internship with great success! We had twelve college age students spent the summer serving with One Day Closer. We are now accepting applications for the summer of 2026. 

This discipleship program is designed  for young people who are burdened with an urgency for sharing the gospel. These young adults will be given the opportunity to be hosted in Austin, while spending their summer being discipled and equipped to serve locally and internationally through several mission opportunities.

Our Summer Leadership Program will be open to young people age 19-25. 

The program will include: 

• Free housing in the Austin area 
• Paid Stipend (Interns will be asked to raise financial support and will receive additional funds through One Day Closer Project)
• One on One Discipleship opportunities. You will be paired with a mentor for the summer
• Leadership Development- Leading while learning. We will cover a six week discipleship curriculum
• Christian community with like minded leaders from across the country
• Ministry opportunities both locally and internationally
• Opportunity for Spriritual growth 
• Immersion in another culture through family mission trips
